People experience CONSTIPATION because of their lifestyle and the type of food they eat and sometimes because of STRESS. Quality of life is badly affected.
It can be controlled by changing one's diet and lifestyle and following these natural remedies.
- Drink plenty of water (Especially warm water).
- Increase FIBER in your diet like salads, sprouts, whole grains, fruits, green leafy vegetables & nuts.
- Exercise regularly.
- Chew SESAME seeds as they will solve your problem.
- Drink warm water with lemon & honey early in the morning.
- FLAX seeds - Daily take 1tsp of Flax seeds powder with 1 glass of warm water.. (can find in my post Benefits of Flaxseeds)
- CASTOR OIL is a strong laxative to improve bowel movement. (Take 2tsp of castor oil on an empty stomach)
- FENNEL seeds (Sauf) helps in treating indigestion, bloating, and constipation. (You can drink Fennel tea)
- Eat CURD regularly. Those who don't like to eat curd can take Probiotic supplements).
- Dairy products should be avoided.
- Include OATS in your meal.
- Include BANANA daily in your diet.
- PRUNES are the option. Daily eat 3 - 4 prunes, if it is not available you can eat plums.
- COCONUT OIL - Swallow virgin coconut oil every morning or you can add in your morning coffee or herbal teas. (In cooking replace other oil with coconut oil)
- Herbal teas are also beneficial if you drink in the morning
- Ginger tea
- Black tea or coffee
- Fennel tea
