AAM PANNA:-
Ingredients:-
- Raw mangoes - 2no.
- Sugar/jaggery (as required - generally 1:2 ratio)
- Black Salt - 2tbs
- Salt - 1/2 tbs
- 4 cups of water
- 2 tbs of roasted cumin powder
- 3 to 4 Mint Leaves(optional)
Procedure:-
- Peel raw mangoes and cut them into small pieces and boil them in a pressure cooker or in a pan till they become very soft.
- Let the mangoes cool
- Make a fine paste in a mixer
- Take a pan and add jaggery, cook till it melts and becomes sticky
- Add mango paste, black salt, normal salt, and roasted cumin seed powder, and cook it for 10 minutes.
- Taste sweetness as it depends on the taste of the mango.
- To make the drink:- Add 4 tbs of this mixture in a glass and fill it with chilled water.
- Garnish with mint leaves. (optional)
NOTE:-
It is a very effective and tasty drink prepared during summer to beat the heat in every Indian house. It lowers the increased body temperature and protects you from sunstroke.
WOOD APPLE (BEL) SHARBET:-
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe Bel(Wood apple)
- Sugar or jaggery as per taste
Procedure:
- Take a ripe Bel fruit and remove the pulp.
- Mash the pulp and add sugar or jaggery as per your taste.
- Strain the mixture and add cool water and drink
NOTE:-
It's good for Gut health. It purifies the blood. It cools the body. It prevents the body from sunstroke.
